Spring, summer or fall, all you have to do is call....

Generally speaking, spring and fall have similar weather and crowds, while summer in Europe is just like in the states - vacation time!

Spring travel (April and May) is perfect because:
the air is crisp, not too warm, and its frequently sunny
the kids are still in school (although you will see school groups)
The days are loooong in late spring
You can get some decent airfares if you book ahead
People are glad the winter is over and happy to see you

Fall travel (Sept 19 through Thanksgiving) is ideal because:
Everything is fine tuned and running perfectly
the kids are back in school
Mountain hiking is spectacular!
